I started this site because I have a great love for these things, and wanted to share that with the world. If you’ve made it this far, then you have done well!

One of the true joys of my life is sitting outside on my patio furniture. However, this wouldn’t be half as good if I wasn’t feeling comfortable sitting out there, and that’s why I make sure I always have my outdoor seat cushions fitted to my chair. Outdoor seat cushions can really make a huge difference, and I’d never have a garden without them. A chair that is not comfortable is not worth sitting on, so why bother?

When getting a set of cushions for your patio, it’s ideal to try and get them to fit in with some kind of a theme. For example, your theme might just be a set of colours (like green and white), or it might be something more symbolic (like an Egyptian theme). Whatever it is, you need to make sure that your cushions fit in with the rest of your outdoors. Things such as your garden sun umbrella, your table and chairs set and the type of plants you have should all be taken into consideration.

The only general rule that I would advise to you is that you should keep it simple. Some of the nicest patios I’ve ever seen were the simplest, as complicating things can lead to frustration and confusion. After all, remember that you want your outdoors to be a place of relaxation and tranquillity, as well as a place where you can host dinner parties and entertain guests of all kinds. With this in mind, I’d also recommend not being too extravagant with the kinds of colours you select for both your outdoor seat cushions and for the rest of your garden furniture. The reason is that you don’t want them to draw the attention of the eye too much – you want them to be relaxing to look at. The same kinds of principles apply when decorating a room, so use whatever experience you have of that for this kind of thing.
